HOME > WHERE THEY GO
Very likely, you are already aware that our care caps go to major chemotherapy centers. A few go to individuals that we know or hear about, but, by and large, we produce, package and ship to great American cancer clinics.

Pictured on this page are some of those cancer centers: M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas, is one and another is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee, along with the Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center, St. Vincent Health, Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and Christus Health’s Schumpert Cancer Center. Others are the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Jacksonville, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, University of Iowa, Michigan and Washington, Shands/University of Florida, Baptist Health, Desoto Regional and Ronald McDonald Houses in Houston and Memphis. Periodically, we ship to other clinics around the nation and the Veteran’s Administration. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is our newest recipient. The American Cancer Society’s Mid-South Region is a monthly recipient.

As you come to understand Care Cap Connections™, you see we supply in bulk, in quality, and with regularity. Yes, many other volunteer groups do the same and many individuals contribute garments and funds. We encourage any and all. The need is enormous. We believe that what the medical centers come to know and appreciate about us is that we faithfully meet our promises and we do it with an energy that is alive to all.

For the project teams that are directly affiliated within our region, hundreds of care caps are delivered to the cancer centers each month. Shipping days are exciting to us. Care caps shipped; chemotherapy patients reached. Cards and letters from directors of Volunteer Services, volunteer staff members, and grateful patients and their family members touch us all deeply.
